Album Notes

Hostile Takeover is filled with strange references from pocket protectors, doing the grapevine to Judi Dench in James Bond. Backed by an 8 bit pop beat and a pumping bass merged with catchy hooks, this song will definitely bring you to the dance floor. This song is about someone who is always a push over. The 'nice guy' who finishes last. The chorus of the song where it goes "Boom..." was inspired by my ex. He was very obnoxious and annoying...he would say "Boom" for no apparent reason, and it got him attention. I wanted to use it because for so long I stood by and let him take over everything but I got it all back when I broke up with him. I learned my lesson and my mistakes will never happen again, and I look back and laugh. So now it's my turn to go "Boom"...though I intend to do it with much more class ;) -Preston Bowman
