Album Notes

The Sonic Slumlord is the solo effort from Bobby Skulls, The Rhones’ lead singer/guitarist. While on Rhone hiatus, Skulls waged his solo Rock and Roll massacre. The Sonic Slumlord deviates from Skulls’ past with a continuum of shaman howls, loud guitars, and the urgency of hate. Queen City Rocker debuts with an album of rock and roll revenge, urging SCUM to be the state members in his sonic majesty.

The Queen City Rocker gets helpful hands with rock and roll royalty, Wayne Kramer(MC5), Brad Booker(Gravity Kills, Apartment 26) drummer/engineer/production, Bob Lohr(Chuck Berry/Ernie Isley) on keys, and Dave Cooley mastering the tracks. The E.P. is an engine knockin’, blood spilling bite with a regal arsenal of guts and guitars. Instead of robbing rock and roll graves, Skulls spills fresh blood on the rebel tradition.
