ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Visions" was inspired by the angst and hopelessness of the late nineties, but includes hope and dedication as well. It is a study of the humanity, failure, strength and success of the American people. It is about love, loss, strength, weakness, and a political jab at the leaders who look the other way at what really matters to the rest of us.
R. Scott Stewart is a Wheeling WV transplant who writes sweeping emotions, plain language, rich nuances and who relates to the listener. Comparisons have been made to John Melloncamp and Bob Segar but fans find his music hard to pigeonhole. Visions is a study in cross-genre blending that is sure to sooth yet excite the soul.
