Sacramento-native rapper Random Abiladeze has a brand new album called “Skill Before Swagger”, entirely produced by AdamBomb. This album is Random’s follow-up to 2008’s “Brutally Honest”, which included production from AdamBomb on the notable collaboration “I Loved You”, featuring Butterscotch (America’s Got Talent Finalist).

The new 10-track album was inspired by the desire to move beyond “swag rap” and the flawed idea of style being more important than substance. “Skill Before Swagger” features scratches from DJ Rated R (Critic’s Choice for “Outstanding Turntablist”, Sacramento News & Review).

Coming off the success of “Brutally Honest”, touring, and winning the 2009 SAMMIE Award for “Outstanding Emcee” (Sacramento News & Review), Random’s new album serves as a reminder that each move is built on a foundation of skill. With lyrical content ranging from cynical to sentimental, there is definitely a full range of emotions expressed in the 30 minute project.
