Album Notes

Originally formed in 2005, RAZOR FIST from the US state Wisconsin are another surprise for us
Europeans, for we never thought we'd get to hear such wild and lustful heavy and speed metal
again, looking at all the mainstream trends the USA supply us with.

These guys already unleashed an album upon mankind just one year after their formation and even
then they could point at great compositions with a spontaneous feeling. Now with the second album
they show a consequent progression, not stylistically but for the quality. They sound even more self
confident, more passionate and wild, without losing track on the memorable song.

Next to the smoking guitar work that blows our mind with a riffing we experienced last back in the 80s
from the Bay Area bands, it is the unique shrieking voice of Master T.K. Xanax that makes our ears
glow. The album „Metal minds“ is whipping allover the place in every section, just slows down a bit
here and there to let the powerful chords unfold all their beauty. The flashing, boiling guitar leads then
are the icing on the cake and all elements together lead to catchy, memorable compositions with a
natural sound that shows a nice stage feeling

We are just in the middle of this hot heavy metal summer and on the horizon the hot heavy metal
autumn already shows. With records like „Metal minds“ the US metal scene will not meet any
resistance while conquering European shores and will even be welcomed as liberators from dull
trendy mainstream music!
