Album Notes

What a joy it is to present the first ever praise and worship album by kids from Nairobi Lighthouse Church, truly the sound of the next generation of worshippers! But beyond this reality is the vision we hold as NLC to raise the next generation of 'great men' for God. Joel 2.28 says that our 'sons and daughters will prophesy'. One of the meanings of the word prophesy is 'to be under the influence of the Divine Spirit'. We have a vision to release to the world children who, being under God's influence, will do great things for Him.

KIDS, if you let God's Spirit influence you, you can change your world! In the Bible, we see God using 8-year old Josiah to rule a nation; we see a young girl directing a powerful general, namaan, to his healing; we see a boy sharing his lunch and watching it multiply to feed thousands, and we see a young David facing and killing Goliath. You too can do amazing things for God! You can be GREAT men and women in your nation and world. We believe that your greatness will not come JUST from focusing on talents and academics, but chiefly from FAITH, CHARACTER and OBEDIENCE to God.

EVERYONE, we pray that the songs on this album will help you rise up to the greatness God has destined for you. Relazx...and enjoy as the NEXT GENERATION leads you in HIS praises.
