Album Notes

The Relegators . . . are a Nashville-based original R&B band whose members have their roots in a wide range of musical styles. Together, they form 'The Relegators' and bring a fresh, original approach to the classic sounds of R&B.
Some of their influencing artists include Blues veterans Robert Cray, Delbert McClinton and Bonnie Raitt as well as current R&B prodigy, Joss Stone. The bands original material hints at the influences of straight-ahead Blues, Funk, Jazz, Pop & Rock resulting in an intoxicating and irresistible musical style all their own - guaranteed to leave you humming. The band members are accompolished in their own right. Their collective experience spans several continents, countries, and includes venues ranging from USO Tours and Inaugural Balls to jingle writing, song publishing and live performances.

Members have played with such well-known artists as The Drifters, The Platters, Michelle Wright, Jack Greene and Delbert McClinton to name a few. Invariably, when these members come together for each writing and recording session - the result is their own unique collaboration of music, known as The Relegators.
