The latest single from Nashville recording artist/ songwriter Rhett Anthony. Currently based in Music City, Rhett was born and raised in the Baton Rouge suburb of Prairieville, Louisiana and is a graduate of Louisiana State University. He spent many years performing in the Gulf South area and as of recent, has been performing across the country and has shared the stage with a variety of talented recording artists and musicians. His influences are derived from a multitude of genres including: country, rock, pop, soul, cajun/ zydeco and choral music. More specific influences include The Eagles, The Beatles, James Taylor, Prince, Shawn Colvin, Vince Gill, Sheryl Crow, Amos Lee, Martina McBride and a long diverse list of others. A tribute to the great city, Away from Baton Rouge is sure to become an anthemic favorite among Tiger Faithful and Louisianians worldwide, as well as anyone who has found themselves missing home and longing to return.
