2 Disc-Special Edition Live DVD and CD! Rico Monaco & Sol Sons a Red Hot Rock Latin band from Orlando Florida have won many awards (including a National Battle of the Bands sponsored by Hard Rock Cafe & Cabo Wabo Tequila, Musician of the Year-Rico Monaco, Song of the Year, Live Band of the Year, Record & Song of the Year) and this latest release is the best group effort with all "live" performances. Taken from a live concert on July 18, 2009 in front of 5000 people and a "live in the studio" performance on September 13, 2009 in which the band performed 13 songs in ONE DAY! There are some overdubs added to the live in the studio recordings but all of the base rhythm tracks and all of the guitar solos except one are completely live! This package contains an audio CD with 15 of these songs including 11 original songs and 4 classic covers! The DVD has 16 tracks including 10 original songs and 6 covers. The covers include "Baker Street written by Gerry Rafferty," "Hotel California," "Baila Morena (written by world famous Italian artist Zucchero)", and the African chant "Jingo" made famous by Santana. All the covers were injected with the great style, musicianship, and high energy of an RMSS (Rico Monaco & Sol Sons) performance. RMSS is known to put on great "celebration of life" concerts that have impressed audiences from Paris, France to San Francisco, California to Manhattan, New York to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico at Sammy Hagar's Cabo Wabo Cantina to Miami, Florida to Salt Lake City, Utah and of course their home-base of Orlando, Florida among others.
