Do we ever learn from our mistakes, especially when it comes to affairs of the heart? How many of us have gambled and lost, had an affair and got caught? Cause, effect and consequence! "Got Caught When Your Guard Was Down" is a song of a guy who did just that, had an affair, got caught and the consequence was that he lost everything...c'est la vie? It most certainly is when one gets caught!

"Then Love Was Young" - "Then" as opposed to "when" love was young. When one reflects on the early days of a relationship, when passion is at its strongest and when you still have so much still to learn and love about each other.........

When one loves another but is not loved back....probably one of the saddest emotions one can feel, especially the young....so much to learn about love's highs and lows...and I guess most of us have, at least once in a lifetime, cried "Wasted Tears".
