"My Mailman Has a Tail" is a whimsical collection of songs in a variety of American musical styles: Delta blues, ragtime swing, country, rock and folk—plus a good dose of Jew's Harp. I am by no means strictly a kids artist but have always connected well with children. Subject matter here is vaguely educational—hygiene, pre-historic situations—laced with mild absurdity. Recommended for ages 4-10 but highly suitable for adults and their neighbors. A family might play this on a road trip to The Flat Hills of Kansas or to the Folly Museum in East Saskatchewan. Makes a great gift for the kids’ teacher and obviously for your mailman or woman. Many of the songs have coloring book pages that can be downloaded from our website. In fact, try this to amuse the kids: Buy the CD, download the coloring pages and invite over the neighborhood. Serve a delicious high protein snack then let the fun begin.
