OK, so I'm prejudiced.  I know Ron and have always loved his stuff.  But honestly, this album blew my socks off.  Clever lyrics and unexpected twists of melody are woven into songs ranging from blues rock to tender ballads.  There's a wide range of textures in the music built from creative use of multi instruments and rhythms, all woven together with a unity of style.  The end result is not only listenable but rich with discovery as you listen to it again and again.  Marvelous!!!!!!
