They used to call me PiDi-ICE!, now they call me Ibrahim, the self proclaimed leader of the RoofTop Regime! We represent the Ruling faction that can successfully save Hip Hop from self destruction. We represent different parts of ameriKKKa and the World. Our purpose is to challenge all in the realm of Hip Hop to Constantly Elevate the level of content in the game. We started out as children and it is the children who have the most to lose or gain depending what we leave behind as a legacy concerning Hip Hop. The year 2006 saw 406 senseless murders in the city of Philadelphia alone. 398 of the murder victims were African-ameriKKKan. Is there enough niggaz in Philly for another 406 to die, and me NOT be one? The late 80's and early 90's saw a rise in conciousness in the music, the gang truce in Los Angeles and the nationwide unity over the Rodney King verdict. MC's across the usa were articulating the plight of the brown skin people in ameriKKKa. Speaking on topics including racism, police brutality, missed economic oppurtunity and education. Then it slowly started to decline as rappers' checks started getting bigger. In the wake of 911, Hurricane Katrina, government inaction concerning assistance for the residents of Louisiana and surrounding areas and the Genocide in Sudan, how dare we forget, in the booty/bling era, that everybody isn't a Baller! Is there not enough to talk about or is Hip Hop running out of game? If we do not stand up now for Hip Hop being the mouthpiece of the poor people, when will we? What has to happen or how many more people have to die before we do? Who will? Enter the Regime...
