Reviews of What Would It Hurt?

Love the Acoustics
Vocals: You have the most unique voice! A little Bruce Springsteen...little Bob Dylan...BIG Neil Diamond. I love it, man. Raw. Don't change.

Melody: Inviting, keeps you going. Great bridge.
Lyrics: A nice story. A little plain, but there is nothing complicated about the story, so they can be. GREAT HOOK. Good mood!
Production: Don't touch it! Everything is where is needs to be. Mixed beautifully
Overall: Great job man! Nicely executed. Keep Rocking!

Happy Happy Joy Joy
This song just fills me with happiness. I want to dance around the room. I will as soon as I'm done typing. You make me fell like a bare chested warrior with long flowing locks. I stand on the mountain top and observe all below. This is just so damn catchy. I love this. I want to dance dance DANCE!

brilliant pop song
Acoustic guitar intro sets a nice easy mood. Male vocalist has a great sense of timing, pitch and delivery. This is a very uplifting tune with catchy lyrics and a great hook. A pop song in the true sense ( 3 minutes of catchy beat, melody and hook) which will get the listener humming the tune in the grocery store. I could hear this played on the radio. Excellent guitarist and well placed harmonies.

Wind Down The Windows & Take A Drive
Pretty Well Recorded Acoustic Guitar Sounds! ****

The vocal is raw and raspy... like a Rod Stewart, Counting Crows vocal. I think it's great.

Nice clean crisp arrangement.

A pretty love song. Very catchy. It makes me want to get out take a slow ride and wind down the windows and let the wind blow through my hair.

Well done...

Nice guitar intro. Quite country yet quite Dylan.
Cool feel good sound.

this mans a dude
i like guy he's a dude. I wanna be in his gang. A bit bruce sprinsteen, all american type music. Good solid drums and acoustic. He likes dylan, and so do it.

nice song , nice arrangement and i liked the vocals very much. Perfect melody line. No complaints here.

the tune is mighty catchy. Good guitar playing. Simple but effective chords and melody.

There is a sunny, warm mood to the song that makes you smile and nod along. Best part is the chorus when all the backingvocals come in. Rich!

The performance is great, the mix is solid too. I really enjoy the overall quality of the song. Guitar solo in the break is top notch, great tone, great player. The groove is tight, mix is even better.

Foot Tappin!
I like it, it is a feel good song! The music you can feel it! I like it all the lyrics, mix and mood!

Country Rock!
Great raspy soulful voice, surrounded by professionaly played instraments! The guitar sounds great, the drums are nice, and the voice is confident and solid. All the elements are there, so "what would it hurt" to give this track good marks! Nice job!

Folk meets country.
This is a really nice folk song with a country vibe.
I like the lyrics and the way they are executed.
Drums are really cool and guitar in the middle is lovely.
This track has power and a great feel. The band is good and I like the drums and guitar. You sing with a lot of character.
The lyrics are good and tell a good story. The mix is fine and the mood is joyfull

nice track
The mix is excellent, and the mood and lyrics are good. Reminds me of David Gilmore’s better moments with Pink Floyd. Great drummer. Nice alternative acoustic rock track.

Wow, a concise song with a hook and production value! About time.
Good stuff guys. Has a Mellancamp vibe to it vocally and even the song. Nice energy. Good mix, mood and the lyrics are great!
Love the vocal/lyric! This is a HUGE step above most of the pop rock I've heard. A song with an actual STORY? A bit sappy, but cant' knock it for that. After all, Richard Thompson goes from sugary sweet to pitch black and that seems to work

Diamonds are Forever!
Thoughtful little ditty, very passionate vox & lyrics. Incredible production & performance well written & mixed. I'd have to say it put me in a better mood. Instruments are tight & timely.
Great song, great performance. I will be listening again, and looking for more!

country
The production reminds me of Lyle Lovett. Good arrangement and 'grab you and get you tapping you foot groove' most enjoyable. The lyrics and phrasing make me think of Neil Diamond.

Fun, Engaging
Starting off, the sound is lullabye-ish, but it picks up the beat and launches into a really fun song. The lyrics are sweet and playful. Very reminiscent of Bob Dylan and Van Morrison - the latter, especially.

I Danced!
Powerful uptempo country rock song with a very catchy hook. Some excellent guitar playing and vocals. Good message in the lyric too which made this, a song I would play over and over.

Pop song with a spice of Country
This song puts two completely different genres of music into a one project.
The vocals and the beat remind me of a top country song, whereas the guitar track sounds like in could be in today's hit pop songs.
This is a very well sounding song in Springsteen goes country. A feel good happy-happy song !

Reviews of Fabricated Beauty

Poppy
This song is amazingly poppy, its got a catchy hook with the chorus, its alomst got a bit of country twang to it. Its deffinately pretty cool.

Funny
OK....you got me. I was getting pretty worried that I was going to have to write something nice. So here it is. You probably already know that it sounds like a million bucks. The vocals are done really well, the arrangement is perfect for what the song is. Most of all the lyrics are pretty funny and kept me listening. I dont think you'll win any Grammys with it but I can see it in the next Addams Family movie. OK maybe best original song in a motion picture.

Country pop
In the start the song has a touch of country - maybe because the singer has a countrysounding voice. But it changes into a poprock song...
Quite catchy tune..
Nice change of tempo..
I like the string arrangement.....
you might have a hit...

Music with a sense of Humor
This music totally catches you off guard. The first time I listened to it, I ignored the lyics and totally missed the point.
This is a riot. I recommend this one to anyone with a sense of humor.

Not exactly subtle!!!! But Fun!
Hey, if they're ever looking for an alternative theme tune to "Nip/Tuck" they need look no further!!!! This song contains no hidden meanings whatsoever, in fact i was amazed that the writer was able to come up with so many ways to describe the various plastic surgery options available to the World's women. Just add a price list and I'd be convinced you were a plastic surgeon touting for business!!
It's pretty good fun actually and the production reflects this. The vocalist sounds like he's enjoying himself and that's what matters here. I smiled several times, so i hope that was the intention. Any song that can fit the word "breasts" into it is fine by me!!!
The combination of guitars and strings when the songs breaks at 3:02 is a nice change in production.
I thought that the BVs were pretty simple but i'd rather this than BVs that are too ambitious and spoil the song.
On my first listen I wrote that I hated this song, but i have since stricken that from the record and decided that, after a sense of humour transplant, it's good fun.
God, i hope this is tongue in cheek, otherwise i'll feel guilty laughing!!
Cheers

Personal Music
This sounds like an artist who really creates music for himself.
NYC
Depth of voice makes me think more country than pop. The song itself is much like a showtune. Yeah I think this piece with it's story line, drama, chorus harmony style and vocal quasi-spoken parts is well suited to Broadway. See you in New York.

Prefabulous!
Love the humor! Reminds me a lot of "Prefab Sprout". Everything sounds well done production wise and so on.

The vocals fits this kind of perfectly and I like the fact that the singers shows his personality in his style of singing. It differs a bit between regular singing and talking. The song is done with great literary and humorous enthusiasm.
