The gamut of emotions accompanies this CD including memorial tributes and honorable expressions of joy. Included with this magnificent trio is Adam Niewood as a special guest performing Joy - an original by his late father Gerry and and Elegy which I wrote for my big band. Inspiration for the completion of this project came from my usual sources plus the addition of my association as conductor/pianist for the critically acclaimed brand new broadway show Come Fly Away - choreographed and directed by Twyla Tharp. Being surrounded by so much music allowed me to put together this program and get the CD done!
