The SDS Trio met when hired individually by the producer of the independent film "American Legacy" to write a soundtrack. The trio started composing within minutes of meeting each other for the first time, and they had such a good time on the film that they decided to continue their collaboration and go on and tour and record as the SDS Trio. "This is the SDS Trio" is their debut album.
