Album Notes

The title of this record roughly translates to "the invisibles", which refers to those who've lost their "voice", be it politically, economically or otherwise. From a lyrical point of view, the album starts off on a somewhat melancholy yet defiant tone, depicting music itself as a form of resistance and rallying force, perhaps even an agent for change and eventual reform, especially in the more "oppressive" societies where in some cases playing certain types of music is actually banned, at least in public. The final cuts are more upbeat offering a "ray of hope" culminating with a modified instrumental version of the title track.

Had a chance to listen a few times to this and the previous album and found them to be unlike any other persian music and quite refreshing. Music selection and mix quite good with visible western influences from Pink Floyd, A. Parson's project, and others. Keep it up Shen.... A+
