The Bunkhouse Tapes

by Saddle Mountain

Rough as the mountains where it comes from, crossing over from modal mountain blues to hard rockin' guitar solos and on to Colorado country AND western roots and more. These songs really were recorded in a bunkhouse.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Banjo, acoustic guitar and harmonica are the only real instruments that are actually used on these songs. Jay Grant's songs were recorded in the 60's on an 8 track recorder with two brothers, Sid and Dean Culver, playing guitars. Jay's songs are unique roots treasures, reflecting his experiences of life in western Colorado. He has many more songs that we are looking forward to releasing in the near future, possibly on his own CD. Enjoy!
