Album Notes

The natural sounds of flowing streams and waterfalls of West Virginia are combined with tasteful improvisations for hammer dulcimer, psaltery, and Native American flute. The album provides over an hour of gentle and healing sounds for relaxation, therapy, meditation, or yoga. In addition to the water sounds you will occasionally hear calling osprey, spring peepers, and geese. This album is a synthesis of Sam's background in biology, music, and musical instruments.

Sam Rizzetta has been nominated for a National Endowment for the Arts National Heritage Fellowship for lifetime achievement in the arts.
