one of the best albums in 2003
author: 5150 Promotionz
Bay Area Veteran Sean-T proves with the release of his new Album Terrain Boss that he's not only a top-notch Producer on the Westcoast but also sick Rapper and Game-spitter. The Beats on this Album are bangin from the first to the last song and Sean-Tz rips every Track to shreds! Can't forget the tight featured artists like E-40, the original Mac-10, Balance, Aftermath's The Game etc.. They all hold their own and add a special flavor to this Album. Terrain Boss is definitely one of my fav. Albums of 2003 and I advice every Westcoast Rap Fan to cop this sh** as soon as possible! Peace John (CEO of 5150 Promotionz)

This new Sean T-album is heated!
author: Oral Beezy
"Terrain Boss" is a tight album. Sean T.got the game covered, with hot beats, rhymes and guest-artists. Aftermath's THE GAME is featured on the tigth first song "We Gangstaz" and another one, both real gangsta. Skip from UTP and Sean T.does a fly collabo on "Here 2 There", a real funny beat by Sean Tizzle. Other highlights include the collabo "DAMN" with E-40 and Keak Da Sneak over a cool Ric Roc-type of beat and "I choose You" and "Papa", personal real-azz songs where Sean T. spits over soul-samples. Only drawback here is that it's too many tracks, he could have cut it down to like 15 tracks, but it's all gravy. If you're down with that westcoast g-thang or even that eastcoast-thang (Kanye West-type of soul samples) you should definately purchase this Sean T.-album! -Oral Bee

Most Definately Copp This. Sean T Is Bringin That Heat
author: Tha Schizo
Legendary Bay Area producer/rapper Sean T recently released his album "Terrain Bo$$." It features the likes of Young Noble, The Game, E-40, Keak Da Sneak, Mac & AK, Mr. Sandman, Balance, A-Wax, Skip (UTP) & more. The entire album was produced by Sean and it shows. This album features some of the hottest beats I've heard on a Bay Area album in a long time.
He starts the album off strongly with the track "We Gangstas." Like many of the beats on this album, it's bangin. Sean comes with heat on the mic as well though. He's got a a good delivery and good lyrics. Aftermath artist The Game lays down a solid hook. It's a dope track to get the album started.
E-40, Biaje & Keak Da Sneak appear on the track "Damn." With an allstar line-up, this track doesn't disappoint. The beat's real cool and E-40 drops a nice verse. Keak comes tight as usual, as does Sean T but it was Biaje that I really liked on this track. Even though he only dropped the hook I was feelin what I heard from him.
One of the things that make this album stand out is that it's got some real readio friendly tracks on it. One them being "I Choose You" featuring background vocals from Mississippi. With most Bay Area artists not getting too much radio play, this is one song that should definately get some. I'd even suggest a video shoot and push for some video play as well. This track shows Sean's versatility as a rapper as well. He shows that he can rap over hard gangsta beats as well as a more slowed down, almost soulful beat as well. Plus the subject matter. This is my favourite beat on the album.
Another one of my favourite beats was "What Should I?" This beat is sicc. But not only the beat, but Sean comes sicc on the mic as well. His delivery is on point as the beat compliments his style nicely. This was my favourite overall track on the album.
Young Noble (Oultawz), A-Wax & Eddie projects are featured on "Want War." Again, the beat is slappin. Young Noble starts the track off and his style seems to be exactly what the beat was made for. Sean T drops the second verse followed by A-Wax & Eddie Projects. All the artists shined on this track. Another knocker for the Terain Bo$$.
This album slapps from beginning to end. Like I said earlier, the beats on this album is like nothing I've heard from a Bay Area album in a long ass time. The guest appearances were explosive and Sean T matched them hott verse for hott verse. Mac & AK appeared on "Party Wit Us," Skip (UTP) & Biaje were on "Here 2 There," Mr. Sandman & Roddy Bo appeared on "Terrain Talk" and Ghazi & Furious appeared on "Groove." All came tight with theirs while Sean did his thing. This album shows Sean's versatility and creativity as well as he discusses many different topics through his songs. From more hard-edge gangsta tracks (We Gangstas) to slowed down mellow tracks (Makin Me High) to radio friendly joints (I Choose You), Sean has it all on this album. Most defiantley pick this one up at your local record store.
9.5/10
