SERIAL OBSESSION RELEASES “SHOTGUN OPERA”

They’re baaack! Serial Obsession, the NYC based hard rock band has returned with a full length followup to their self-released 2008 EP, “Sexy But Useless”.

The band, consisting of Shawn Sugrue (vocals/guitar) Mike Suozzi (Guitar/vocals) Jason Rosin (Bass) and T. Motts (drums) has spent the last year honing their craft on stage both locally and regionally and writing new material which leads us to “Shotgun Opera”.

Serial Obsession has put together a 10 song collection of music that covers the Rock N’ Roll spectrum from the hard hitting opener “All the way”, the radio friendly “Follow you Down” and old school guitar driven tracks like “So Cold”, “I Can’t Believe It” and “Half Cocked”.

Throughout the disc the band craftily blends both modern and classic rock influences with interesting results like “Dear Abby” and “Edge of the Blade”. Other tunes like “Inside Out’, “Costa Rica” and “No Surprise” are examples of how Serial Obsession blends radio friendly melodies with arena rock power.

Serial Obsession is preparing to make some big noise in 2010, so sit back and turn it up to 11 and enjoy...“Shotgun Opera”
