Album Notes

Shadow Circus' follow-up to their critically acclaimed debut, Welcome to the Freakroom. This release sees the band reaching for new musical heights with powerful songs that are sometimes heavy, sometimes delicate and pretty. Fans of classic 70's progressive rock should take note, as well as fans of more modern progressive acts such as The Muse, Coheed and Cambria and Mars Volta. An ambitious, challenging and exceptionally soulful album, Whispers and Screams begs to be listened to over and over again.

I absolutly loved the 1st album and ordered the follow up "Whispers and Screams" as soon as it came out. I was not disappointed. There is no filler on this album it is all "blow you away" great Prog from start to finish. These guys hold up the Prog Flag high mixing old school prog with more modern prog. I can't wait for the next one. Buy this CD now, highest recommendation.
