On a warm August afternoon in 2008, Sharen Wendy's youngest son, 20 year old Carmelo Cacciatore Jr., was driving home
from work when he lost control of the car he was driving and hit a tree. He was killed instantly.
Always a gifted writer, Sharen Wendy found a vehicle to express her sorrow over the loss of her son. With an inspired
passion and commitment, she began writing songs for her son three months after he died. Her heartfelt words and
gentle melodies are accompanied by her strong yet comforting voice; the voice of a mother singing to her child. Sharen Wendy's first album, "Whisper on the Wind" is written for and dedicated to her son, Carmen.



Needless to say, this event has been a life-altering experience for
Sharen Wendy.
