This is Cason’s first album in few years, due in part to the loss of her best friend of 25 years.

"It was a real blow to my heart." said Shirley, "I've been really trying to record a CD ever since but just couldn't focus. Everything that was I was recording was another Summer Dream album theme. I just didn't have the heart to record & release another "Picasso's blue period" CD. I do have an album titled "Carpe Diem" that I will release one day in memory for my dear friend ~
