Just in time for summer, this relaxed folk-pop album balances feel-good vibes with hard-won wisdom. The band arrangements are cohesive yet full of breath, stretching into the warm air. Sid’s voice, sometimes accompanied by guest vocalist Amy Speace, creaks and groans like a bluesman, but is capable of clearly delivering more sweeping melodies with tenderness and ease.
