Album Notes

At the time of recording this album, Siobhan is 15 years old. Classically trained, she turns her haunting soprano voice and delicate harp playing to a repertoire of traditional Celtic songs. She is a truly enchanting act.

“Celestial Echoes” was recorded in the acoustic setting of a converted Church (Chapel Lane Studios) near Adelaide. The recording shows, without pretence, the beauty and honesty in Siobhan's vocals. The classical pieces on the album have a wonderful piano accompaniment, whilst Siobhan accompanies herself on harp for the Celtic songs with simple, yet melodic arrangements. The piano is a Yamaha C7 Grand, and Siobhan’s harp is a 36 string Maple and Spruce lever harp in the Celtic style, built by Tim Guster or South Australia.
