These timeless classics exhibit the strength and timelessness of songwriting traditions in Scotland with songs by some of Scotland's greatest, including Robert Burns, James Hogg, Robert Tannahill, Lady Carolyn Douglas Scott, John Cameron and others, all done in Smithfield Fair’s inimitable approach and style. Also included is Dudley and Jan’s title track, written as a candidate for Scotland’s national anthem. Selected from albums released over the band's 20+ year history, the selections were chosen by repeated audience requests. The original tracks were revisted, remixed and remastered to bring all up to the exciting high standard audiences have come to expect from Smithfield Fair.
