Album Notes
Paintin Ceilings was an album I set out to make on a personal level. It ended up being way more then that. The album came together with the help of few great artist. Including Influence, J-Rolla, Mariami, Danny Atlas, Whit, and Paul Z.
My objective was to make real songs with real emotion and meaning. Some on a personal level, and some on a collective sub-conscious level. We wanted it to sound "Not Like" your normal Hip-Hop Album. I picked 10 songs I believe go really well with each other, while still being able to stand on their own. Also I was looking to attract the not so normal Hip-Hop fan with this album, And the response has been incredible. People that don't even enjoy the urban Hip-Hop scene hae given me incredible feedback on this album.
Overall I wanted to make an album I would enjoy listening to, and the outcome was "Paintin Ceilings"

The only review that really matters
This is not your average hiphop album.. It's so much more! Each song is different and unique in it's own way, yet still relate to each other. I love the sound and the vibe the most.. You actually have a message to bring to the table, which is very refreshing and is a nice change from mainstream hiphop. This is definitely one that ANYONE can enjoy, regardless if you like hiphop or not. And if you dont enjoy hiphop, this will be your gateway. Keep it up!!!! :)
