These songs were definitely a "God thing". HE was the One who would wake us up at three in the morning with a tune in the head! But we're not complaining. We just learned (eventually) to just go ahead and get up and not miss out on the blessing! Our pastor said to "find out what God is doing and get in on it." We latched onto that full steam ahead!. Some of the songs came amazingly fast, such as "Come to Me, My Jesus", which David wrote in about thirty minutes. The title song "More Than Anything" came about fairly quickly as well after I told David one night that I was feeling sort of down and needed to sing something. He searched his own heart, and dwelling on the word "need", the words just started to flow. The song "Come to the Cross" was born from a desire for people to get saved, and yet still applies to people who are already believers.
