In her debut album 'Life's not an act' the influence of growing up in a small rural town in Southwestern Ontario can be heard in both the lyrics and her new country rock sound. The lyrics are deep, thought provoking as Stephanie writes with purposeful intent to give her listeners encouragement and hope. She believes that she has to live by the words she writes - walk the talk, so to speak.
