"Stormy Goodbyes and Laughing Eyes" offers the listener a variety of moods, tones and subject matters. The album takes a sometime serious and sometimes, not so serious look at relationships. Some songs will make you laugh, some may bring a tear to your eye. The more upbeat songs have been referred to as " bawdy heartland tunes" while the more contemplative offerings are best classified as warm ballads.
Steve Judice's debut album has been a long time in the making, with some tracks having been penned two decades ago. The effort is supported by a host of talented musicians who compliment the music and lyrics crafted by this songwirter.
Producer, Gordon Graham of Dog House Studios in St. Francisville, La. has done a remarkable job with arrangements that truly bring the songs to life.
