The title of the album reflects the spirit of the collection: Tiny points of "musical" light that comfort, cheer, and touch the heart.

The most remarkable thing about Still Simple Gifts is that the ensemble has had no personnel changes in its 25 year existence. The six-member group presents pleasing and often familiar tunes, played in new ways, using unexpected instrumentation. Designing unique and creative arrangements to showcase the melodies and instruments--many of which are hand-crafted by one of the ensemble's members--is one of the great joys of Still Simple Gifts!
