"September Rain" - one example of great songs on a very well done album. This song has beautiful lyrics and melody, and the vocal harmonies are like silk. Very peaceful and enchanting music. The lyrics in "Like a Rose" take you away, and the emotional impact is strong yet soothing. The message of this song validates the worth of each person and of the natural world around us. The guitar work is imaginative and peaceful. "Island in the Sun" is a great song and this is a great album! The lyrics in each song were obviously the result of a lot of work and deep thought, and the whole album is a work of art.
