The Surfchixxx are a female duo from Bundoran, County Donegal, Ireland. Surfchixxx lead singer Aine O' Doherty is well known in Ireland as a solo performer and talented singer-songwriter. She teams up with songwriter and backing vocalist Niamho, and together they have brought a lively spirited show all around Europe, USA and Ireland itself. They enjoy writing songs that have all of their influences thrown together- Definitely Irish, but also reflecting their love of country, folk and rock. It's two guitars and two vocals, and it's played live all the time in the pubs and clubs around the world. This album was made because of thousands of requests for a CD from pubsfull of happy revellers who wanted to take home the sound of the Surfchixxx! To enjoy this, you need a beer in your hand, and some space to dance!
