Artist website: The Art and Music of Suzee "Suchi" Waters Benjamin: www.suzeewatersbenjamin.com or www.suchiwb.com

As an artist, Suzee/Suchi, sounds a clear voice of compassion and insight that takes the listening on a musical journey of truth and healing calling for a return to simple concerns, a gratitude for life's abundance, and an awareness of the basic responsibilities we all share for each other and our earth. Produced by Nashville veteran, Kirby Shelstad, musician and percussionist extraordinaire, "The Waters Edge," is a unique blend of traditional and ethnic sounds deeply rooted in the rhythms of the earth. Some of Nashville's finest musicians play on this timeless recording: Larry Chaney (electric & acoustic guitar), Dave Pomeroy, (bass), Mark Casstevens, (acoustic guitar), Conni Ellisor, (violin/string arrangements), Bob Mason (cello), Byron House (bass on Be At Peace) and Suzee's longtime musical collaborator, Jerin Lynn (piano & accordion.) Freedom Choir: Annie Freeman, Kent Agee, Jerin Lynn, Jane Pittman, Tom Benjamin and Suzee Waters Benjamin.

Suzee/Suchi is a multitalented visionary artist who has co-created a diverse palette of expression as a singer, songwriter, painter, ceramicist, healing arts practitioner, and arts educator. The theme that runs through all forms of her creativity is "transformation." Her intention as an artist is to co-create a bridge from spirit to form which reflects with honest emotion the dynamic power and beauty of Creation and the responsibility we share as Co-Creators.

"No listener will stand for long at THE WATERS EDGE. Suzee "Suchi" Waters Benjamin and ensemble have created a work so satisfying that it quickly and ecstatically draws listeners into the deep end of the music pool, and baths them in a rewarding resonance of rhythm, melody, and vocal erudition. This is a powerful, engaging, and delightful recording. " Steven McFadden, Profiles in Wisdom and Ancient Voices

"Suzee "Suchi" Waters Benjamin is a new breed of soundhealers. THE WATERS EDGE is a work of profound originality both an elixir for the spirit and a gift for the ear. A perfect example of the use of music as a carrier wave of intentionality." Joshua Leeds, The Power of Sound.
