Album Notes

#1 - The User Pool - features the quote "No Rules, Not One" (can you find it?). Perfect Seattle alt-rock style with witty lyrics. Written as the theme song for theuserpool.com.
#2 - Falling In Love Again - Temptations style R&B with a great Beach Boys harmony onslaught at the end.
#3 - Answers In The Wind - swinging jazzy rocker with intriguing lyrics. One fan remarked that once it starts you can't stand still.
#4 - Another Lover - recorded live late one night in an abandoned nightclub, featuring Kenny Johnson on drums, Bruce Krasin on sax, Rudi Weeks on bass and Joe Podlesney on guitar.
#5 - In The Night - gotta listen to the ending...all those harmonies!
#6 - The Devil - recorded live in the 80's with Kenny Johnson on drums and Harry Hmura on guitar. Harry's guitar solo is tremendous!!
#7 - Barbara - a perfect little pop song about --- Barbara!! Starts out like a folk song and ends up rocking.
#8 - Last Days On The Island - everything rides on the interplay between the lead guitar and the vocals, with those eerie lyrics - "the formless faces are peering out but it seems to comfort me, that each and every moment can be seen".
#9 - You Got To - the very first song I recorded on a computer, it would have to be considered the starting point for the creation of the album.
#10 - Morning Comes - a simple lullaby done with delicacy, it is nonetheless the favorite for many fans
#11 - With You Today - kinda Elvis. Thank you, thank you very much!
#12 - Don't Be Afraid Of The Silence - an experimental rave on jam, exploring the possibilities of multi-tracking. Just love the drum break!
