Album Notes

This fine piece of hard rock sounds excitingly fresh but also, without chasing the past,
manages to convey a pleasent feel of classic rock. TANTRIC CYCLE's EP is the answer to the kind of rock supported only by the corruptible pillars of modern production. This EP is a promising glimpse of what's to come from a talented young rockband.

For A Spell is an outburst of rock 'n' roll energy, a stream fed by many sources now gouging its own riverbed.
A great rock track that sounds as surprisingly new as it sounds comfortably familiar.
"Can't I just dance? Does it have to make sense?" asks Lez. What do you think?
Turn up to 10 and feel free for a spell of 3:33.

The second track "Bleed" is just as exitingly crafted as the title track. A powerful song needs no
heavily distorted guitars and tons of effects to be powerful. This up-tempo blues-rock track is an excellent acoustic performance and more proof of the band's musical potential. A manic song about love gone astray in which Paulus' aggressive and dirty vocals doubtlessly do justice to its title.

The third song is a cover of one of Stone Temple Pilots' stand out tracks "Sex Type Thing" and
not at all comes second to the original. A killer live version with Paulus' deep vocals making it even more menacing.
