Recorded in an abandoned warehouse during an especially cold Chicago winter, Ten of Swords' debut album is rich in steady rhythms, inspired melodies and lush textures of sprawling guitars. To round out the sonic aesthetic, other instruments such as strings, brass and harmonica were added to the basic lineup of acoustic guitar, electric guitar, drums, keys and bass.
