Album Notes

Tens of Thousands is a band from Brooklyn. We play very catchy indie pop songs. (Not cloying, bland pop songs...fun, interesting pop songs.) This shit will get stuck in your head.

The band is fronted by brother/sister duo Jeff and Kristen Aldrich, who moved to Brooklyn from a small town in coastal Rhode Island. Jeff plays guitar and sings, and Kristen sings and dances and plays the castanets and the triangle and the claves and the tambourine and the kazoo. Andrew Ranaudo mashes on synthesizers and Dan Levine slaps the bass and Eric B beats the drums. The music is kinda like the Beatles meets Weezer plus some synth-pop, and the lyrics are smart and quirky and sometimes a little dark and cynical if you are into that sort of thing.

Hope you enjoy it!
