As the Lead Singer for L.A.’s original performing & recording artists. The Heaters, Theresa Robertson, then known as Mercy Bermudez, released two albums on Arista Records and Columbia Records in the 1980s.
One of L.A.'s most loved and popular bands, they consistently sold out nights at the Whisky and Roxy Theatre. They toured throughout the United States
opening for acts like Talking Heads, Southside Johnny & Ashbury Dukes,
Photo Maker, Van Halen and Cheap Trick.
Her single, a remake of "Why Do Fools Fall in Love" from Columbia Records became a hit in Europe. Her rendition of "Never Been in Love" was the only
top 40 hit in the U.S. for Suzie Quatro. Theresa’s re-recording of "La Bamba"
became a hit in England and Europe.
Theresa sang with Darlene Love in 1985 performing Phil Spector's hit songs, to a sold out crowd at the Roxy Theatre.
Theresa was recognized for her soulful and powerful voice across the nation. In 1980, The Heaters were voted one of the Top 5 performing bands of the year in the United States by Robert Hilburn of the L.A.Times and N.Y. Times.
Rollng Stones Magazine was quoted as saying "(she) is only one of two singers in Los Angeles during the early 1980's that can actually sing.”
Theresa is thrilled to be singing and performing again. Look for Theresa in venues and events throughout Arizona and the U.S. and enjoy her unique and
soulful renditions of your favorite songs.

I was looking forward to hearing Theresa Robertson's voice and I'm not disapointed at all. Her voice is beautiful and inspiring. Very touching. And the sound is perfect. I would like to hear Theresa singing rock songs again like she did when she was The heaters' lead vocalist. She was amazing.
