Album Notes

A union of souls, this band is an eclectic and innovative mix of Rock, Nu-Jazz, Folk and Soul, with lyrics inspired by political and social strife as well as from the singer's vivid and often lucid dreams. Recently emerging on the underground scene of New York City and armed with nothing but their instruments, they have put together this album to have a product for listeners looking for a fresh sound. Asked about their music, the band will list many influences including Radiohead, Zero 7, Ani DiFranco, Andrew Bird, Pink Floyd, Billie Holiday, Charles Mingus and Stan Getz to name a few. However, it is the combination of these elements that give them their unique sound. Individually, each member of this quartet brings to the table many years of recording, gigging and touring with a number of different groups from a wide variety of music. All of that experience has allowed them to hit the ground running. With the release of this demo EP, the band plans on sharing their music with audiences all over the Northeast.
