The Opelika, Alabama native, who currently resides in the Washington D.C. Area and has earned a degree in Business which allows him to efficiently split the creative process of the arts with the marketing and management side of music. Tony's latest CD features a stunning cast of musical guest including Hiram Bullock, Jerry Hey, Gary Grant and Onaje Allan Gumbs. The CD starts off with a bass-driven version of The Hustle called, "New York Hustle" written in a positive upbeat manner as a tribute to the victims of 9/11. Later on in the album, you'll come across a fun, Rap version of this tune that features Spanish rapping and the Jerry Hey Horn Section with Jerry on 1st Trumpet. The journey continues with a soulful stroll down "42nd Street" followed by an "Eastcoast Swing" and a sweet, R&B vocal pops up in the form of "Baby Come Home" sung by Cedric Napoleon. Tony flexes some bass muscle on the intro to the smooth title track, "Pleasure Sensitive." Other notable songs on PLEASURE SENSITIVE 2 include the upbeat "Mystic Ways" and the delicate groove, "Hold On." "Tony is also known for his sincere and charming style." Be sure to touch bass with Tony Whitfield's new project, you're sure to dig it "MUSIC MEANT TO LAST"!
