Album Notes

"This album has a very deep, dark feel with hints of shimmering light throughout."

I didn’t want to write the typical "guitar album", nor did I want to write in the predictable vein of the "Nuevo-Flamenco" stylings. This album is about journey, faith, courage, hope, love, loss, dreaming and all things that make human experience wonderous.

The mood of the album is varied and the flavours will be many. Ultimately i’ve always wanted to compose music for film so there will definitely be a movie soundtrack feel, with orchestral sections, choirs, percussion and deep soundscapes as well as some short segue type pieces that will be more focal on improvised guitar and the emotion of delivery.

This album took me to spiritual places where my brain had been asleep from and had been since awaken. I can hear the heart of the music, beautifully and gracefully and passionately expressed, without reluctance, without fear. How talented Tyson Emanuel is. His fast fingers and pick, his movements on his guitar. One who truly follows his heart what he loves. His guitar sings and tells it all. To me this is Grammy's level because of its sincerity, its production, its expression, its liveliness, its freedom. Beautiful instrumentation and arrangement. An awesome record. Everyone's gotta have it! :)
