Progressive rock band Vivid Glimpse was formed in 2009 by brothers Andy and Richard Vellacott. Featuring Andy Vellacott on lead vocals, drums and percussion and Richard Vellacott on synths, pianos and backing vocals, "Into the precipice..." is Vivid Glimpse's debut album.
The album contains eight original tracks ranging from the singles "Take my hand" and "Miracles don't happen to me" and dramatic songs such as "Undermined" to the epic "Into the precipice" and the powerful instrumental "Broken mirrors".
Andy explains “This album really crept up on us – we didn’t have any grand plan, Richard and I just really enjoyed writing and playing music together. But then it struck us that we had written some really great tracks and we wanted people to hear them.”
“We’re incredibly proud of our work on this album,” says Richard, “and hope that other people enjoy listening to it as much as we did writing it!” “We are really excited about the future for our music – we’ve a lot of great ideas just waiting to come to life,” adds Andy.

Great purchase
author: John Panton
I just bought this album as recommended by a friend who is into prog-rock even though I hadn't really heard of the band but I have to say it is one of the best albums I have bought in the last year. Highly recommended!
