Recorded July 27th-30th, 2009 at Decibelle Studios in Noe Valley, SF. We tracked all songs live and one (Handful of Miles) in just one take! In the studio, we got to use a lot of really cool instruments, including tubular bells, a Celeste, a Hammond organ, banjo, and even a beer bottle (see if you can hear it in Red Ribbons!). We put a lot of love into these songs & the EP, which can best be described as bluesy, soulful, indie-country and folk-rock. All engineering, mixing and mastering was done by the fan-fucking-tastic Drew Zajicek at Decibelle.
