Blue Mambo is a driving two horn Salsa-based band lead by New York City Latin-percussionist, Victor Rendón. The ensemble brings a group of veteran musicians with a wide variety of experience in the field and features traditional salsa tunes as well as original compositions.

Blue Mambo’s debut CD was released in 2008 hitting the Hit Parade list in Latin Beat magazine for months and has gotten airplay all over the United States including Europe.

Blue Mambo is a versatile group that can plays Salsa based dance music for any social event and Latin-jazz at its best when called upon. This CD release features the talents of Chico Alvarez on the classic tune, " Bilongo" and Anibal "Tito" Rivera (of Grupo Latin Vibe fame) on "Pare Cochero". Included in the CD is the Latin-jazz original by Victor Rendon titled: 'Cafe Sin Leche" from Blue Mambo's debut CD release.
