Reaching back to his hip hop roots, instrumentalist, bandleader & alto saxophonist Victor Valente brings back that old school break beat funk in "Save Our Ship" featuring Brooklyn rapper Mega Millz. Popular for his mixed
tapes as Dj Supa V. through out the 80's until the mid 90's Victor started his musical career as a hip hop dj and a member of Afrika Bambatta's universal zulu nation. On "Save Our Ship", Victor Valente introduces that good old head bopping funk fusion with hard hitting live drums by Calvin Grace and Mega Millz on vocals, two great jazz solos, making this track a hardcore hip hop fusion party rocker.
