Album Notes

“…a good man is hard to find” is the debut of Willie Cherry. These raw songs were recorded over a weekend to highlight the urgency of the material, both past and present. They are both intimate and universal, staying within the gray area of existence, highlighting people and situations experienced by all but discussed by few, a conservative love letter to the forgotten. Recorded in the late hours, with minimal accompaniment these songs take on a new life, being played in their stripped down form, truth carving away the artifice. With such naked confession, it is easy to picture just one lone man, searching for a connection that will never truly be found.

Hand-numbered and artisan packaged using sustainable resources.
