Album Notes
Recorded in the Bluegrass heartland at Maggard Studios in Big Stone Gap, Virginia. This collection of hard driving, heartfelt songs from the soul of acoustic music will leave you toe tapping and wanting to push replay. From the haunting coal mining songs 'Black Lung Blues 'and 'Flower of Darkness' to the history rich lyrics of 'Wild Bill 'and 'Burnin' Georgia Down.' Finishing up with the vocally strong southern gospel song 'Stay The Course'. This CD will certainly become one of the favorites in your collection. Five multi-instrumental musicians make up the band Wolf Creek plus a special treat of having such blugrass heavy hitters as Tim Stafford, Rob Ickes and Adam Steffey join in on the intrumental song.. 'Wolf Creek.' This is truly a collaboration of great friends, great songs and a love of music to be enjoyed by everyone.
