Album Notes

Although Sandi Ludescher is not new to the Celtic harp, she is new to recording." Nya's Rayne," is Ludescher's first album. The idea came about when Ludescher’s daughter—who works as a massage therapist and medical intuitive-- told her that one of her best memories was falling asleep listening to her practice harp.
Then, one day when Ludescher was receiving a massage, she was bothered because the music in the room and the rhythm of the massage weren’t synchronized. She theorized that if the music was recorded to follow the natural choreography of a therapeutic massage, then it might be more effective. She drew on her use of a technique called “entrainment” with hospice patients and “Nya’s Rayne” was born.
Since its recording, it’s also been used effectively by yoga and meditation practitioners, as well as pet owners to calm stressed-out, hyperactive dogs.
Ludescher is back in the studio recording several more projects. Her next album is planned for release in early 2010.
